I don't know if exactly that source code even still exists and I can assure you that there is nothing in the Techdemo I sources that is not also in the current sources and most of it also improved... But if there is request for that sources, I can look if I find anything in my backup folders from th...

@vermeer: I noticed like -not exactly fps loss- non fluid when straffing...All world and ships did tremble to the sides. Yes, we noticed that, but weren't able to fix it before release. (We released it now, because both of us will have not much time in january and february) All Objects except the te...

Hi, thanks for your replys. @dawasw: Strange, I tested the demo on pc's with lower specs and it ran quite well. Yet Another Space Shooter - Techdemo II [updated]
Hi, we've uploaded the second YASS techdemo! --> http://www.yass.de.md <-- We spend quite some time during the last year developing on it, but I think it was worth it. But if you save 3 vertices for each triangle a lot of vertices are redundant, because a vertex can belong to more than one triangle. So you have a vertex list, with all your vertexes and you sa...

This thread is really redundant, a simple search and you'd found this: http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10116 (There is a reason that you have to use 2^n+1) Also that Irrlicht gets buggier each release is a statement I cannot comprehend, but if it bothers you, simply change it ...

I guess I did not really get what you want to do. If you want to have some static text on a rectangle, you can make a texture with the text and draw the texture on a billboard. You should look at the createBillboard function in the API for that... If you want to dynamically change the text on the bi...
