I thought that if I could write a single-player game.Then, with the help of networking library (eg. RakNet, etc.), I should write the multiplayer online game. Am I too optimistic or missing something?

I tried to run the setup of http://www.cygwin.com/
the setup.exe requires internet connection during install or download.
I always get "unable to download" error, no matter what mirror sites were used. (http://cygwin.com/mirrors.html)

Any ideas?
