Hi, greetings out of the USA...(especially to the AGOW team^^)
Since I'm here in the USA I don't have access to my favorite Tools, but I found this Post, and wanted to show some of my work for this project. (maybe someone will get curious about it, and hop on to the team..)

hey tgm nice to hear that u r still alive. We thought that we lost you^^
project is comming along well. we recently got some people who will make maps and parts of it for us. And we are despratly waitng for u to come back and make more chracter models..hehe

but enough about that. hope u have nice vacations in usa.
We're programmers. Programmers are, in their hearts, architects, and the first thing they want to do when they get to a site is to bulldoze the place flat and build something grand. We're not excited by renovation:tinkering,improving,planting flower beds.

Yeah I saw this model and its video a while ago on IRC, and I was quite amazed.

I hope it looks just as good inside Irrlicht :D (Might need a few nice shaders for this though.)

^^ no.. I'm not worried.. (since he may be very good inj shaders but not in character modelling :wink: ) besides: great work with your shadowmapping!!!

Oh I forgot TGM was good at shaders, he is much better than me haha :lol:

hm.. don't think so.. think you want to get around some work :wink:
no.. in fakt I'm not as good in shaders as you are.. (I tried shadowmapping, but failed...)

No I was just lucky to come accross the right resources, Im not very knowledgable or understand things like 3d mathematics much, that is why I cant do stuff like calculating the tangents for your normal mapping etc. I am only able to make certain things work.

Anyway lets just say we both suck and end our little "no you hang up!" style conversation.. :P

Back to topic: I am wondering about the progress of this game in general overall, I remember Sudi had some nice things done in IrrEdit that would allow for faster developement and also some networking/entity structure set up long ago. Also are there any commercial ambitions? (Im sorry if you have mentioned this in the first post already.)

We now have a nice alpha running the basics of every shooter currently. Progress is now trying to focus on actual game content like art n stuff.

And no, we have no commercial ambitions for this game due to the following reasons:

1 - Lucasarts would sue the poop out of us if we even tried
2 - We want to make this game acessible for everyone
3 - I'm hungry :|
