Irrlicht not friendly with Lightwave 7.0?

Irrlicht not friendly with Lightwave 7.0?
The modeler I always use is Lightwave 7.0, I love it... I personaly think it is the best modeler out there but.... for my FPS engine I am making with Irrlicht, I need a good model format with bone animation, the only format that popped to my mind was .x! but I only found one plugin for lightwave that exports .x but it was for versions 6.5 and 7.5! but I tried it anyway, I tried loading up the sample models into Irrlicht and It didnt work.... Anyway, are there any other good formats with bone animation that Irrlicht supports and that Lightwave might have a plugin for?!
There was an x exporter for LW, wasn't there?
sorry, all I can find is this general page fro all type of x exporters...
lw 5.6 and 7.5 ... The other one, seems Okino converter "bought" it...grunt...

the other formats(with weights!) I know supporting weight and bones...
* Kaydara FBX... (Maya, Max, and LW I think, export it. BUt noooone of the free tools or cheap ones support it (x can be exported by 3d canvas(34$) or much better in quality, character fx(15$), or Ultimate Unwrap.(only animation conversion, not animating) ) .That's why I suggested x, is supported by the cheap, and the expensive. Hopefully, in what is bones (there are many free for static) Blender ,free, will have it.)
* Return to the castle Wolfenstein MDS (only know of a max exporter for it)
* Doom 3 md5 (Blender exporter already exists for it )
But none are readable by irrlitch.
