Hello guys. It's been a long time since I have logged into these forums. My development work has lead me away from Irrlicht for to long. I am glad to see that the community has grown.
Irrdev Center has been down for a few months now
I have the old files from it on my new host, hasn't been updated in about a year. I am going to try, to get it up to date. So much has changed. http://www.thadamnitalian.org/irrdev
My job has brought me away from C++. I am now programming in C# (Kinda like it) and using Microsoft XNA. We can talk about that another time.
Looks as though I am still a moderator. So watch out.
Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Oh man, well XNA is ummm... fun? Yeah. It's pretty simple to use. But it's not complete and there are limitations, a few of them. My job requires me to use it however. It's great for building an engine from the ground up using C# and about the only good thing a step up from using managed directx it self. You can get things done a lot faster with it for sure.
Do I like it more then Irrlicht? Not really.

I remember having to research XNA for my work as well. Yeah, it was 'fun', cute and small and easy to play around with. But yes again; definately under developed. Missing tonnes of features that I'd consider vital.
