I'm having problems opening your zip. How big is the video? How long is it? Try uploading it to YouTube. People would have a lot more fun watching it.

Also my two comments with out watching the movie are as followed.
One it's highly noticeable that you are copying Metal Gear Solid. The main character looks just like Solid Snake. This could lead to legal problems even if your game is free.

Two what's with the over use of the motion blur. Your game looks nice. I hope the blur isn't trying to hide crappy level design or character animations. Which from screen shots doesn't seem to be the case.

Looks good, but please fix that video link. Unless it is just my computer.

Thanks for your comment - I will try to upload the video to YouTube.
One: Yes, it`s noticable because this is fan-game supported by both metalgearsolid.cz and metalgearsolid.org - but, as teaser said, I`m trying to get out of it (hoping that Kojima ignore his fans for now - there are MGS:Philanthropy / MGS: Mongoose Incident, etc. :) ).
Two: No, I just love depth of field - Imho it adds motion picture feel to it.

Depth blur definetly seems to be the way of next-gen games... if you want your game to look next-gen then just wack on over the top depth blur and you're there...

Personally that annoys me a bit when they use excessive depth blur as it doesn't look at all realistic..

From the screenshots it doesn't look like you've over done it too bad and it all looks pretty good!

an f1.8 lens effect. you've got a very narrow depth of field in there.

you could try an f4 or f5.6 lens effect, though.

Thanks for your comments.
dlangdev: Maybe it`s even less than f1.8.
JP: ... and over-the-top glow is also good way to look "next-gen" (shaders are everywhere) :).
