free skymaps!

well this has been in my bookmarks for some time now. I figure this could probably be useful for a lot of people around here

he says no restrictions, but you should probably give the guy credit if you use them

I've seen tutorials on how to make these using a reflective sphere, you go outside (or stay inside if you want a skymap of a room :lol:) and then plonk down the reflective sphere you have and then stick the camera directly above it and take a picture. You then of course have the camera reflected in the shot so you then have to photoshop it out but you then end up with a skymap. Someone on my robotics course in my final year of uni made a robot that could see 360 degrees with this method.

I've added this to the list of free gaming resources i'm putting together on my webite, nice find!
