Not there yet rogerborg, we are currently still in the planning stages. And you can expect us to lock ourselves in this early.

No dates == no booking time off work / scamming employers into thinking that this is an actual conference == limited attendance.

I'm already sold on the idea.

True, very true. But we also wouldn't want you to take off work for something that was sloppily produced just to meet the deadline. :(

But, anyways, since this is basically a community project. What dates would you be considering?

I'm always considering dinner with Alyson Hannigan. Soft music, fine wine, and a bottle of roofies.

As to dates for this though, I'm easy, but the more notice that I have, the longer I have to persuade SporranCorp that it's actually vital job related training that I should get paid to "attend".

Oh yes, the time of notification should be quite ample. We intend to allow enough time for developers to get their projects together, have them reviewed and approved, and then the following week would be the presentation. This is the plan right now.

We definitely want you to be able to attend rogerborg, and even possibly hold a conference one day.

Depending upon how things go, I may be able to offer a session about using the SMD3QuaterionTags. If they do what I think they do, then there's no previous documentation that I'm aware of. I'd have to think of another simple program to write it into so you guys don't have to download the whole game that I'm working on.

Also, I would like to possibly release a simple program that uses CuteAlien's SDL joy polling method or perhaps how to implement Meta Triangle Selectors with a user created camera\playermodel and a simple level (possibly a box).

Would something like that be acceptable?

d3jake, of course. Those would be some great topics. And also, remember that you can always do more than one conference. :)

Once you find out what you really want to do, then just shoot off an email/PM to either myself, or FuzzySpoon, and what your best day(s) is/are for presenting of any given week.

Great to see that your interested.

Pfft, the only thing I'm an expert in is cynicism, and that's a hard product to market.
