Is that for a Windows install? How about you contact Apple and ask them.

Asking that question in an ogre forum might be a good start to find out...

But while you're here, might we recommend to download irrlicht instead and checking that out? ;-)

Even if this was asked on the appropriate forum it wouldn't help much, Ogre doesn't support Dev C++.

Ask BlindSide for a better answer. Anyway, does projective texture prohibit Dev-C++

What?:D Irrlicht also support projective textures:) Example Shadow Mapping use this technique;) You can very easy usage projective textures via shader:)

Yeah, stop spreading lies. :P

I think the question comes down to, do YOU even support projective texturing?

maybe we should add a "irrlicht does support projective texturing" demo to the main page :D

I don't know, but it is a very simple simple problem isn't it? suppose that we can make it with shader so, is there any way to create it with Fixed function pipeline??

Someone's working on a fixed function pipeline version of projective texturing, but we don't know when it will be ready!

Oh yeah an update on that, current progress with Fixed function projective texturing:

Direct3D9:
- Everything works fine, reflections, multiple scene nodes, etc.
- When using an orthogonal projection matrix it comes out wrong, dunno why, current solution is just to use a perspective one with a small FOV and place it really far away.

OpenGL:
- A few bugs, reflections are messed up, projecting only projects onto one scene node for some reason (Have to check the state changes).
- Orthogonal projection works fine.

They are both ready to be used for something like a simple spot/directional drop shadow type thing. So I may release it anyway if I can't get the bugs sorted, atleast the DX version.

Heres some screenshots (From D3D9 driver):

Shown here water reflection and tree shadow.

You can see tree shadow projecting onto dwarf.

(Note these are not shadowmaps, just projective shadows.)

Cheers
