You need real good guys, for this game. And such have own ideas. As your first project, you should try to manage Snake or Pong and not a DooM 4 MMORG game!

I'll suggest some more engines for your next 12 hour changes:
3dgamestudio - A6 engine
Torque
AMP2 - per pixel lighting engine
Power render
Truevision3d
Cipher

I think that's a lack of seriousness with the Irrlicht community, saying you'll do something with it, and the saying it's no good and that you'll try something else, and then coming back again. So, it's good or not?
