A cease and desist is too late - they couldn't unleak your software back from the person who cracked it, or the warez scene ftps where they uploaded it, or the p2p networks it eventually ended up on.. so unless you can guarantee that either the software would never be cracked, or that you would sue the people who leaked for as much money as it cost you to buy/make the protection, then it makes more business sense to spend the extra time and effort supporting your paying customers and giving them what they wantHalifax wrote:No problem, rogerborg. But anyways, if you were to find the person responsible for the pirating, and you have a legal copyright/trademark, then you could issue a C & D order for copyright/trademark infringement.
