well,with opengl i dont have flickering in fullscreen like with d3d but lights have pretty strange color.
i have to mention that i am testing this on very old graphics card.i cant get more that 50 frames pre sec,on the other one i got 290-310(which is obsolte now too-gforce 4 mx440

I don't install directx 9 on my PC, because my TV tunner not work well with this version. Will be nice if you add any user control for choice between OpenGL and DirectX.

you dont have to install directx9,you just need put d3d9.dll into system32 folder and it should work...it works for me hehe
Hey bal, what Irrlicht functions did you use to place the text exactly where you want it? I've been searching the code and have not been able to find any.
In OpenGL, I simply use glProject, but still have undesireable results.
