lulz, did you copy that player collision from the IrrPhysx game example? roughly works alright I guess! Probably good enough for a 24 day project, character controllers would be more of a waste of your time I guess!

Nope im not :P im not using irrphyx for anything other then a guide. That code is my own rough implementation . Character controls are planned :) they are really easy to implement im just trying to save time.

Hello everyone i only got 10 days left!. I have a problem though.. i don't believe i will be able to create all the art needed. So Ive come to ask for help. I'm making a distress call to the irrlicht community to have pity on me and donate models anything that could be used in a scary game. Models can be uv mapped and textured but its not required. To show that im not just talking here a little tech demo showing what i have in terms of graphics its not much but you get the idea.

So if you have any models id gladly accept them.

I'm working on my own game at the moment, but there's always time to help a fellow irrlicht-er :D What kind of models did you need?

Okay, here's a hanging light I made. It was put out in twenty minutes, so the texture may be a bit lacking.

205 verts, 399 faces, 1 512x512 texture

A bit off-topic, but did you ever play Dementium: The Ward for Nintendo DS? Your intro is exactly like it :p

Looks great btw! Any model suggestions? I could try my hand at modeling for once :D

Lol twilight amazingly i haven't..... But err MINES BETTER <.< ...

Ok guys i haven't posted in 3-4 days here but im not dead nore is my little challenge. So i just wanted to show what i have so far. I finally got the flashlight code in and working as well has fixed some normals problems on all my models even got normal maps on them.

Video: http://dl.deathtouchstudios.com/videopr ... hLight.mp4

Anyways i am still in need of models. I need surgical tables, more beds, a electric chair type looking thing, more hanging light models, anything that is scary will do.

Most donated models haven't been implemented but tomorrow they all shall be. So please guys i need more models. Thanks to those who have already helped.

The black clipping thats happening in the corners of your room is the clipping plane of the light, set the shadow lights far value to more :)

Its looking awesome dude, but i think a clearly laid out level will help assets appear faster. ill post one within the next while, and then we build that for the level.

Great work so far.

I'm always ending up with too much time on my hands! I'll probably make one or two more models for you to pass the time, and it's going to a good cause too, am I right?
