Would it be a good idea for Irrlicht to have OnLive support?

Definitely, now we may easily crush Ogre.

OnLive.

I just found the OnLive service, and it looks great! You can use standard PC development tools. Which would mean Irrlicht would run on it. If I can get an SDK from them I think I'll try and add some OnLive functionality to Irrlicht. Does anyone think this is a good idea? I already have a game idea that would be perfect for OnLive and Irrlicht.
That would be illogical captain...

Irrlicht is a rendering engine, not a game engine.

I use Irrlicht for rendering only (that's what it supposed to do ;) ), but another addon would be fine.

AFAIK these are two completely separate things. The OnLive server will probably need some setup for the app to work correctly, but it's just an online technique which will probably work with every app that gegerates graphics. The rest is (hopefully) rather transparent to the app. And I don't see why this would be related to Ogre in any way.

Why do you want to crush ogre?
If you don't like it - don't use it. Simple as that.
Software documentation is like sex. If it's good you want more. If it's bad it's better than nothing.

probably OnLive and Gaikai (not sure)
will have new RenderDevice, then i think there will no problem
to release new driver for this.

will be something like:
EDT_ONLIVE or EDT_GAIKAI
