I smell a kid who has little to no programming, modelling, or game design experience who wants to make an mmo, minecraft clone, or some giant combined engine

, and will give up in a few weeks when he realizes how hard it is.
maybe i or someone should make a modeler, i had an idea for a 3d modeling program based on pottery, you'd 'spin' a 3d shape of vertexes and push it with some pottery like tools perhaps in some multiplayer competition and save the results...
There are hundreds of 3d modelling programs out there, why make another one? Also there already is a modelling program created with irrlicht. Pottery like tools in a 3d modelling program is nothing new.
there's also the ogre 3d engine, why are there 2?
They are 2 engines that were started by different developers. That's why there are two. Also people like having choices.
Perhaps it would be better if there was "1" 3d engine with many different options within it, so you coudl pick the irrlicht render core or the ogre render core and they'd both be options.....perahps until market or developer forces picked one
No offense, but that is possibly one of the stupidest things I have ever heard on this forum.
Anyways is there a big collection of old projects?
Yes. Search through project announcements. Keep in mind that just because the engine is open source, doesn't mean all of those projects are.
i'm not gonna get rich writing software without a permit anyways
permit??? wtf?
My suggestions to you:
1. Learn programming (and modelling)
2. All of your "giant, open source combining of engines" is ridiculously stupid. It will never work for about a million reasons. The more you know programming the more you will realize how pointless and stupid your idea was. Sorry if I'm sounding harsh, but its true...
3. Start small. Make a few small games (Pong sized games) before you attempt to do anything big.
4. Don't start stupid threads like this and post some ramblings. If you have a question or want to start a discussion then clearly state what you want to say/ask. A bunch of random sentence fragments are borderline spam.
