It's still under development so more content and functionality (eg. blog comments) will appear in the following days

cool. so are you using any 3rd party stuff like for the forums (phpbb2), or for blogging (like wordpress scripts) or are you implementing it all custom? if so that's pretty cool, since it's more secure for your site since you know exactly what the code is doing.

I'm using wordpress as a back-end for my blogging system, but I'm using a completely custom interface (not a wordpress theme) so I can integrate it nicely with the rest of the site, and so I can choose to enable/disable or even add any feature I want seamlessly (and because I like re-inventing the wheel)

I don't think a forum will be implemented though, I doubt I'll have a large enough userbase for that

Sure, thanks for the check

I'm by no means a professional web designer and it's been ages since I actually did some work with HTML and PHP so my skills are a bit rusty

While posting tools, I've found webpageanalyzer.com quite useful. It gives your site a near-pass, only warning about the number and size of images.

Just finished my media page, I'm using Plogger to manage my images (too lazy to implement something myself), check it out if you have the time!

I'm using default behavior as defined by Plogger right now; I'm trying to get basic functionality up and running, when that's finished I'm going to start tweaking and hacking/modding, making everything more streamlined and more natural in use
