I need a tablet too I think, I usually draw with pencil but then struggle to cleanup the lines afterwards for scanning.

I've also got a Wacom Intuos 4 Medium, It works great on Linux, however anytime I turn pressure and tilt sensing on in GIMP i get these spikes going to the edge of the drawing space if i make straight lines. Its really really irritating! Has anybody perhaps got an idea what may be wrong?
