Sounds interesting. I'll see if I can cook something up with my my3D doodles I'm doing at the moment, might takes while due to work and other factors though.
You may be sick of hearing this Dimitri, but any chance of fixing up the "Can't load my3d file and textures from irrlicht zip archive" problem? or let us know a workaround (or indeed if I am doing something wrong).
It always displays invalid format (mat_header not found etc) but works fine OUTSIDE of the zip file. This is really important feature for this great format.
