I think this is because 3D coding is such a popular specialism. Lots of Youth (and me, too) are here because they want to make up their own games. They just are starting with Irrlicht and C++ as their first computer language, others have learned other languages before (or have worked so long with C++ that they have a lot of experience)

And most will end up getting frustrated and giving up -- if only temporarily for things more RAD-y.

By the way, I'm 21, and don't particularly fall into the 0-18 age limit for the thread

By flaunting your "youth" (translation: gayness) you succeed in making everyone that isn't youthful feel miserable about being OLD...

Hopefully this will catch fire and set this thread a blaze. if this thread was on paper I would use it to light my cigarette just before having a beer. there now you know how it feels two things yer crappy youth doesn't have on my old age.

I just turned 34 6 days ago and I freakin' love it!

Damn! at 16 I was going out, meeting chicks, pub thumping, then 2 years later (18 is adult age here) having some nice tequilas, playing with my band, meeting more chicks, nice pogos, underground, etc etc etc, ehehehe. Meanwhile, I went to college, then my dad sold my guitar and drums cause I was paying more attention to music than architecture, meanwhile I kept having fun till I was 28, but I was already getting bored of all that.... so I got married at 30!!!! hehehehhehe

now I', all settled down, my mind and spirit are mature enough to assimilate knowledge in a much better way so I decided I was ready to try some programming and trying to organize my dead neurons a bit.

I agree it's all a matter of attitude. I can still go out with my teenage cousins, and have a ball with them; I also think I did things in the proper order. I wouldn't want to run into "the good party" after all the inexperience of youth. If it grabs you after your 20's then you never want to get out of it. Better burn that stage early so that then you can save your gray matter for better poop.

Youth is a term used by people that don't know the word kid or child.

Children should to house word and only speak when spoken too.
