As of September 1, 2005, Propellerhead Software officially terminated development of ReBirth RB-338. This date also marks the end of technical support for ReBirth. That's right, ReBirth is an unsupported product. Propellerhead does however offer this collection of FAQs which should help sort out most of the common problems.
Still, please bear in mind that the documents are old, very outdated in places, and occasionally cheeky - but we must consider that there's been a lot of water under the bridges. It's been said that in the computer world, evolution moves at ten times the normal speed, which would make the latest version of ReBirth about 70 "computer years" old... and so it is with parts of this FAQ archive. We have left the older support answers intact because users might want to dust off old computers running Windows 95/98, NT or Mac OS8/9 and put them to use as dedicated ReBirth hosts.
If you still find yourself stuck, you can always turn to the ReBirth Museum Message Board where knowledgeable users may be able to assist you.

anyways, i hate bitTorrent, shame it's only available with a torrent, won't download
EDIT: I should clarify, I won't download bitTorrent and won't use it. I've had nothing but nitemares with bitTorrent, spyware installed on system, bitTorrent bring my internet connection to a halt, even when I'm not downloading files. Don't trust it, with as fast as the internet is, just make a damn file for download, bandwidth is so cheap now, torrent is useless, IMO.
No wonder it's free. Who in this day and age would install a 16-bit app on their machine???[/quote]
Note: The following error-message may occur during installation on the Windows platform: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Windows applications.
more like the installer is 16-bit (a lot of installers are still 16-bit, actually). the app itself i believe is 32-bit.Anonymous wrote:Does this mean that the app is 16-bit?
