B3d , you mean Blitz 3d format?

No that i know. The x format. If you have Max, you can use free Panda exporter for it.

Hm. I guess what you have is giles, and try to export from there. There are several plugins available supporting giles directly. That is, directly native giles format. Loaders for irlicht, that is.

Even more: I have used giles just with the obj export from giles. It'd export one obj with texture(and its uvs), one obj with lightmap (and its uvs) .Later on I tended to use obj2mim and mim format loader.

But there's at least two *.gls (giles format) loaders for irrlicht, if I remember well.

If there was a my3d exporter for giles, well, my3d works cool at irrlicht, so, yup, surely you'r safe so, also.

Only doubt is if the loaders have kept up to date with today's irrlicht versions.
Finally making games again!

I think you should use the plugin in DeleD to export/import files *.b3d. You can download DeleDLite, and its plugin b3d export/import plugin (free in internet)

treemagik 1.0 free exports b3d if you'd like some test meshes, and also I made a simple loader (not very nice though) for the ascii version of the format, purely for importing the trees. its in the code snippets forum

a b3d loader would totally rule since you could import lightmapped levels into Irrlicht very easily; there are several apps that export to to b3d with no probs: 3d world studio, cshop, deled, Giles. It would truly expand the tool posibilities for Irrlicht and it would also become a great alternative to bsps. :D

@Sudi: if you achieve anything please let us know!
