Problematic MS3D Model
Hi! I have a ms3d model (downloadable at http://cid-51aec94d6952348d.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/public/brown.zip) which looks okay in milkshape (v1.8.2) but seem jumbled at irrEdit 1.5, and with MeshView or my own works with irrLicht 1.5 it seems a blank model with 12 triangles (although it has ~22...

I agree with you b@z, I am planning to improve my skills on blender. It is cross platform and free of charge. It would definitely be an incredible choice against very buggy and very expensive old 3D studio. I have tried to export my model from 3D Studio to B3D format with B3D PipeLine but result was...

Solution
I have found a solution! Although a very similar tutorial is present deep in that forum, but I will state the versions with correct methodology. I saw that the reason of most of the troubles do come with old version software. When I have first tried the things I have written above, I was using 3D St...

Animated Models Consumed My Life
This animated model stuff consumed all my life. I have spent very very much effort on learning, practising and applying 3d animation stuff and integrating them to irrLicht. I have tried many methods for exporting either and X or a B3D file from 3D Studio Max then import them to irrLicht. None of the...

Animation problem (B3D and X)
Hi! I have made a model in 3D Studio Max 7, setup bones, skin modifier and animation. It is a quite low poly model with very low res textures. Everything works fine, but when I attempt to export it via either Blender Pipeline or Panda .X Exporter, I get my model messed up. You can download both resu...

Cool thanks for finding this. What graphics card and drivers are you using? Also which texture filtering settings are you using? I'm guessing you're using D3D9 to render the scene? After finding this, strange thing continued to happen, but I believe I will be able to find more things about this sbu...

I have found that my system was slowed down because of texture filters I have applied. For a strange reason, filters work fast when app is not in fullsreen mode or when irrEdit is working in the background, but what it switches to fullscreen, filters mess up in my app. I don't know why. I have writt...

Performance Difference when irrEdit is Open
Hi! I have recently upgraded my irrLicht projects from VC6 & irrLicht 1.4 to VC.Net 2008 Express & irrLicht 1.4.2 as some of you know. I have seen that when irrEdit is open in the background, my application's performance boosts and everything becomes displayed amazingly faster. But when I sh...
