I dont understand the terrain
Why every time I move the camera I see that the terrain changes itself?
I was trying the terrain rendering demo of Irrlicht 0.14 (and 0.10).
I am using Windows in 32-bit and Direct3D 9.0c.
I have a video card of, well, previous-previous-generation. is that the case?
pex.

Choosing a Renderer
Hi.
I want my game will find the best renderer automatically, so i took the GetDXVersion function from my old DX9.0b sdk.
The problem is that it doesnt work (i copied-and pasted it to the game project).
thats how i call it: GetDXVersion(&dwDXVersion,0,0).
So I was thinking...what happen if the user ...

A question about physics engines..
What are physics engines and why should i use them?
i know its something about collisions or something like that, but why is it better to use a physics engine for that instead using just the graphic engine?
and, are physics engines hard to learn or easy?
thanks, pex.

i know game maker, but it doesnt render 3d and cant read C++.
so i have no idea how you are planning to use gm (game maker) with a C++ engine since you need a DLL for reading and compiling C++.
and anyway i dont think there is a way to compile C++ with game maker....
and game maker dont use classes ...
