@Saturn, yes yes, i made a Normal Map ^^ That dynamic lights shine trough walls is a little bit shitty, but okay, i'll try lightmaps. I did'nt know that i can make them in irrEdit...

Hey everyone... ok I searched for long time for this, but i found nothing...
I have a simple question.. The LightSceneNodes of Irrlicht are positioned in my *.3ds Map, which uses the textures I declared in 3DS MAX, the number of textures is about ten. However, I want the lights not to shine trough ...

ok, we fixed the problem.. it was not that big thing, just because we are nobbs in level programming we made two planes for each side (left/right) at the same positions, when we let some space between the walls the problem is fixed.. :?

I have the same proiblem like you... but i had the idea to make own normalmaptextures.. they are made of the colors red, green, blue... but i don't know how it works correctly...
this map.. saved as jpg or bmp,... has to be used as the heightmap. with a moving light you can see the effect. i'll put ...

I've got the same problem with my 3ds map, i stuck in some of the corners, and sometimes at the ground... is there any known bug? How do other people handle their collision? i tried to fix the problem with other settings for the slidingValue, the ellispoid translation,... then it was partly better ...

There is no need to declare the textures in Visual Basic [or the SourceCode]. you only have to set the textures in 3d Max this way:

you have to look out for the Material Editor [Rendering/Material Editor]
now choose one of the spheres.. click on it
then click on the 'Maps' RollOut an click at the ...
