Impostors ?

its trying to get something from th irrlicht dll i don't know yet...so its probably svn....btw this stuff with export of these extra things are pretty bad!!! bc my engine won't work with the new irrlicht bc of that. but well thats a different issue...downloading dxSDK now to compile irrlicht svn

We're programmers. Programmers are, in their hearts, architects, and the first thing they want to do when they get to a site is to bulldoze the place flat and build something grand. We're not excited by renovation:tinkering,improving,planting flower beds.

the screen flashes...that shouldn't happen on render to texture.
btw u have to make the sice more resonable it its actually smaller than the original render.

I know this is an old one but the effect on this module is very good. From your you tube video I can barely tell that the objects are imposters. I was wondering what licensing you are applying to this module, unfortunately there is nothing in the downloads to clarify this.
Nice work on this its an important feature to improve performance and does look cool.

edit: I have actually written a postmortem type write-up which I intended to post on my blog, but I never posted it. I can post it here if anyone is interested in completing this project.

Thanks Bitplane I don't believe I have seen that licensing agreement before but it seams to do the job.
I am always interested in post mortems its always better to learn from someone else's mistakes instead of your own! I am scratching around for time at the moment so I'm happy with it doing what it says on the YouTube tin, but I certainly would like to tinker with it at some point though anything that ups the framerate is top work in my books.
Personally I'm hoping there are lots of secret Irrlicht users dotted between us but I'm just outside Chester so quite possibly not!
