Im impressed by your demo, btw your AI is pretty good for a starting project. I moved my two troops all over the map with out a problem, the bad guy spoted me and before I knew it I was out numbered.

Thank you for testing my demo. It AI it is she very simple same, for while I only implemented the path-find. Shortly I want to place some shots to give more emotion to the demo, hehehehe
154 to 170 frames per second for me, when I had all of my tanks at the enemy tank area, moving around among them.
I have a Pentium 4 1.9ghz processor.
My video card is 64mb NVIDIA GeForce2 MX.
Nice work.
I did notice that whenever I have a tank moving somewhere, and I select something else, it suddenly stops.
Whenever they got bunched up somewhere, it didn't take them long to split up and some go around one way, with the rest going around the other. Rather nice.
I was told that my 1700 Centrino runs about as fast as a P4 3000. It seems that it's quite true. I had this confirmed in other cases too. I dont know how a Radeon 9600 compares to a GeForce 5950 Ultra though.
It is like it is. And because it is like it is, things are like they are.

I don't get it. On a P4 2.8Ghz, 768 RAM, 256 MB GeForce 5950 Ultra I get a steady 119 FPS. No matter if the tanks are displayed or not, FPS is static.
Just a guess but is your refresh rate for the monitor set to 120 HZ?
